
Atlanta’s Black News Talk WAOK’s 2nd annual Trailblazer Awards honorees were celebrated on March 28th at the WAOK studios, and the ceremony will be broadcast on News & Talk WAOK’s YouTube channel on Monday, April 28th at 7:00 p.m.
This year’s honorees include: Former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Morehouse School of Medicine President Dr. Valerie Montgomery, former Georgia Representative Alisha Thomas Searcy, Urban League Atlanta President/CEO Nancy Flake Johnson, singer and actress Trina Braxton, Comcast VP-Division Communication Quiana Pinckney, BronzeLens Film Festival founder Kathleen Bertrand, Congresswoman Lucy McBath, Executive Director for The Georgia Coalition for the People’s Agenda Helen Butler, entrepreneur Pinky Cole Hayes, and Judge Glenda Hatchett.
