It’s all about that Jazz music in the A and on campus. Having a party with their 50th Anniversary Celebration, Jazz 91.9/WCLK’s staff was invited to the Georgia State Capitol to receive a Senate Resolution, led by Senator Sonya Halpern of District 39, who commended the station for its invaluable contributions to Georgia and the jazz community, and recognizing WCLK for its role in promoting and preserving jazz music over the past five decades.
Shown receiving the resolution are WCLK’s General Manager, Wendy F. Williams, and key members of the station’s leadership team, including Eugenia Ricks, Assistant Station Manager; David C. Linton, Program Director; and Ray Cornelius Cobb, Director of Marketing and Communications, along with WCLK on-air personalities Debb Moore, host of “Jazz at Sundown” and “Sunday Jazz Suite,” and Kiplyn Primus, host of “The Local Take.”
