
Podcast are hot and get attention especially when they’re relevant. iHeartMedia introduces “Fighting Words,” a new podcast hosted by author and activist George M. Johnson, on its Outspoken Podcast Network. The show debuted today with its first two episodes, and new episodes will be released every Tuesday.
“Fighting Words” brings together outspoken and influential voices to tackle issues related to intolerance, censorship, and marginalization. Johnson will engage with guests who use their platforms to challenge societal norms and advocate for change.
The premiere episode features journalist and producer Keith Boykin, who discusses his decision to leave the White House to write a memoir about his experience as a Black and gay man, as well as the recurring patterns of history. Upcoming guests include Gabrielle Union, Erika Alexander, comedian Franchesca Ramsey, actress and transgender rights advocate Angelica Ross, and actress Dominique Jackson.
The podcast is produced in collaboration with Best Case Studios, Tea No Shade Productions, and iHeartMedia’s Outspoken Podcast Network. The network, which distributes its shows through iHeartPodcasts, focuses on amplifying LGBTQ voices and perspectives. “Fighting Words” is now available on the iHeartRadio app and major podcast platforms.
