At Cox Atlanta in a surprise move, Jaleigh Long – the well-respected VP/Market Manager called an unscheduled full staff meeting Thursday, November 7, to announce that she was resigning her position. Her last day was November 8.
Long told Georgia Wavelengths, “I’m so grateful for the amazing 20+ years in this industry and spending the last 11 with the talented team at CMG, and I’m especially thankful to Rob (Rob Babin/Ex. VP/Radio), and to CMG.” Further, she went on to praise her “incredible” team in both markets. “It’s all about the team!” she said.
Long arrived at CMG in 2014, after previous sales and sales management experience with South Central Communications and with Susquehanna, and served CMG as General Sales Manager, and then Director of Sales, before being promoted to the VP/Market Manager position in March of 2021. Long is taking time to spend time with her husband and two “tween-age” kids and plans to remain in Atlanta.
